UPDATE: A suspicious envelope containing a powdery substance at LAPD Headquarters in Downtown LA has been cleared and determined to be safe by our HazMat Unit. Police got a call about a suspicious package found in the 600 block of West 6th Street. They brought a bomb robot and determined after around 5 p.m. Police on Friday were responding to a suspicious package found in downtown Los Angeles, officials said. LAPD Headquarters remains evacuated at this time. The LAFD called the LAPD on Monday around 1:35 p.m. Shortly thereafter, the southbound side of the 110 was shut down at Hill.
